At the Movies is a movie review television program produced by Disney-ABC Domestic Television in which two film critics shared their opinions of newly released films. The program aired under various names. Its original hosts were Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times and WLS-TV and Gene Siskel of the Chicago Tribune and WBBM-TV. Richard Roeper of the Sun-Times became Ebert's regular partner in 2000 after Siskel died in 1999.
This represents a dawn of realization in my childhood. It honestly marks the first time in my life I sat back and thought "I don't care what you think."
And I still feel that way about critics, especially now that the critics are attacking fans along with production companies.
But, hey, I review almost everything that I see and I can guarantee you that I don't do it because I want to influence what YOU think, I do it because it's fun.
The bottom line is that this is a series of mostly horrible reviews on films that still managed to achieve their goal, to entertain.
So, nevermind what the critics think, like what you want. Hate what you want.
