Wakey Wakey Campers

A living history series recreates a typical British holiday camp from the 1960s staffed with authentic characters, and brings in a socially mixed bunch of fifty volunteers -- from young kids to grandmothers -- all eager to experience two weeks of camp fun, drab food, and twenty-four-hour supervision to discourage over-eager night-time activities!

Episode 4

The Major is still ruling the roost and keeping a watchful eye on the youngsters, who still wish to indulge in underage drinking. Family values are discussed, and the differences between life in the 60s from now. Boys will always be boys, and an unhappy camping neighbour grasses on the boys' pranks. Some 60s style discipline is in order, and the Major does the dishing. As the final night looms, it's time to reminisce about the good and the bad. Was it all that bad in the 60s or was it better than now?
