Square Pegs

Square Pegs was a Hong Kong television series 2003. The program's title is an abbreviated reference to the English idiomatic phrase "square peg in a round hole."

The series was the runaway success of 2003, commanding a viewership of 3.5 million or roughly half of Hong Kong's population during the last week of its broadcast, and breaking TVB's ten-year ratings record. It also went on to win four awards for its two lead actors in the TVB 36th Anniversary Awards, and made both Roger Kwok and Jessica Hsuan household names in the territory.

When SHAUN sees KWUN, he tells her that he has recovered his past memory and promises that he will marry her after graduation. KWUN is delighted. FU says that CHUNG and DIP have gone to Lin Yin Temple for relaxation. FUNG still hasn’t alerted the danger. Therefore, FANG tells him about how SHAUN has been robbed and advises him to take care of himself. CHI says she will protect FUNG but FU is doubtful. FANG is sad to see SHAUNG and KWUN are hugging together. She tells them that she thinks CHUNG and DIP have been robbed by FU. SHAUN determines to pretend as the foolish SHAUN again in order to make FU falls into their trap. SHAUN forces FUNG to go to the orchard with him. He tells him that he has remembered KUEN’s story and the other name of basil is Chui Law Huang. Until then, FUNG realizes SHAUN is his real son. At this moment, FU, with a gun, comes and says he has been planned for twenty years for the assets of PAO’s family……
