Sick Note

When Daniel Glass is misdiagnosed with a fatal disease he begins to notice how everyone around him treats him better. But then he finds out he was misdiagnosed by the most incompetent oncologist on Earth and now he has a big decision to make: come clean and go back to his old rubbish life, or keep pretending to be ill.

Wow! I have seen Mythomane right before Sick Note. Same overall idea. That is supposed to be a drama. This is a comedy. That is badly written and trips on its own subplots. This is excellent writing.

Sure, there are some huge gaping holes in the script. If the American is dead in the office, the alarm should have been deactivated. Yet it is not only activated, but someone trips the alarm. Some ghost, as there is no trace of them or their intention.

Anyway, the script is good. The acting is surprisingly good given the cast is made out of second rate actors. And the episodes cheep chaining well: it does not feel like a two season series, even with some lags in the second season.
