Rosa Bernhard, a young journalist, investigates the death of an American tourist named Zofia, who died following a night out at a nightclub called Reaktor.
The journalist Rosa travels to Zofia's funeral in New York. There she begins to understand what really happened in Berlin. She also delves deeper into the past of the real estate investor Brenner. Meanwhile, he continues to put pressure on Rosa's partner Mark. While the reporter suspects that she will also learn something about herself, Brenner goes to see Rosa's mother.
