Almost Heaven is an ABC Kids sitcom pilot which was produced by Dale McRaven that aired on December 28, 1978, but it was not picked up by the network as a series.
The misadventures of a group of deceased souls who are relegated to the Heavenly Crisis and Conscience Center, a layover stop between Heaven and Earth where they must remain until they earn blessedness by performing good deeds among the living. The pilot episode tells the story of Dave Leland, an auto accident victim who is given a chance to earn his wings by aiding a young woman who is contemplating suicide.
