The film offers a comical look at dangers of addiction and the difficulties of quitting through the story of a chain smoker.
This is quite an astute guide to how a young lad gradually succumbs to peer pressure and starts to smoke - a condition that gives him huge confidence early in life but becomes an adduction that really begins to haunt him and his health later on - as he explains to his shrink. It's got quite a basic, linear, style of animation which I quite liked and the message is writ large, especially given almost everyone smoked in 1966! "Amen - the last word in cigarettes"
