Daulet works at a roadside cafe. One day, a famous restaurateur from Almaty comes to the cafe. To get out of the situation and feed the guest with something, he is served beshbarmak, carefully prepared by Daulet's grandmother. Impressed by the taste, the restaurateur invites the young chef to work. Getting involved in this adventure, Daulet is forced to learn how to make a dish in the shortest possible time, and exactly how his grandmother cooks.
