While investigating the brutal murder of her parents, a young woman is kidnapped, raped, and left for dead. On All Hallows Eve she comes back dressed as a blood-thirsty pussycat keen on taking the souls of the men who destroyed her world.
Overcomes it's low budget with energetic direction, sharp editing, clever dialog, a wild color palette. and a genuinely good performance by the lead actress. Lina Maya has the stuff to make it in bigger Hollywood movies, not just because she's hot (though that sure doesn't hurt), but because she actually finds some depth in what could've been a two dimensional character. The director, Gabriel Black, has a style and vision that elevates the story above the typical exploitation flick, It would be interesting to see what he could do with a bigger budget. Pussycat deserves her own series. Her last line is great!
