The "Missing Heart Murders" are plaguing San Francisco - dead bodies that turn up with their hears surgically removed! So a weak-stomached homicide cop looks into the possibilities of a black market for human organs, while across town a man must make a difficult decision regarding his wife, who needs a transplant...
Poorly made yet oddly fascinating 1980s crime-drama that somehow kept me watching, mostly because the lead looked awfully like Gene Siskel, so makes me chuckle thinking him playing a homicide detective. Also, the final scene was hilarious. Also fun seeing Michael Paul Chan and Fred Ward early in their careers. **2.25/5**
