Murder on the Campus
A popular young student finds herself accused of a series of murders that have occurred on the college campus. Her boyfriend, a reporter for the local newspaper, knows she didn't do it, and and sets out to prove her innocence and catch the real killer.

A college campus proves to be quite a dangerous place for students after an imponderable murder takes place at the top of the school tower. Shirley Grey ("Lillian"), a fellow student is suspected of the crime but her boyfriend Charles Starrett ("Bill") has faith in his love and so sets out to prove her innocence by finding the true criminal - particularly once the murderer starts to work his way through the whole school. Why? What's the connection? The story is pretty standard, but the acting better and the pace delivered by Richard Thorpe makes for a decent murder mystery with enough red herrings to keep us guessing (well, uncertain anyway) right til the end.
