The Kingdom

Lakan Makisig of the Kingdom of Katagalugan, who faces turmoil when his favored child, Dayang Lualhati, is kidnapped by a secessionist group. After a failed rescue mission and a dramatic duel invoking ancient law, the truth emerges that the kidnapping was orchestrated by his eldest child. In the end, Lualhati is crowned queen of the kingdom.
