*Midwestern Last Name* Family Reunion

A story about an annual family reunion: while Elle is ready to face the ghosts of their past, the whole family will soon have to face an unexpected planetary upheaval. Between ghosts and comets, a story about tenderness and love emerges. This stop-motion animated film focuses heavily on how the director's identity as a queer person interacts/clashes with their familial structure and it all comes together in an emotional and existential rollercoaster ride.
