Vladimir Sergeyevich Ivashov (1939—1995) was a Soviet and Russian actor. Only 19 years old, Ivashov received a prize at the 1959 Cannes Film Festival for his remarkable performance in the lead role in Grigory Chukhrai's film 'Ballad of a Soldier'; his performance made him a star overnight.
