Arturo Bravo Torres, a 19-year-old filmmaker from Mexico City, has been passionate about storytelling through film, theater, and music since childhood. At Preparatoria Tecnológico de Monterrey, he developed his skills in singing, acting, and film writing, creating his short film Lemons, inspired by Brye’s song “LEMONS.” Now studying at Vancouver Film School in Canada’s thriving film industry, Arturo specializes in directing, writing, and acting. Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, he brings a global perspective to his art. His latest project, The Boys in Drag, explores LGBTQ struggles, drag culture, and family dynamics, showcasing his talent for creating meaningful and boundary-pushing cinema. Arturo’s passion and creativity position him as a bold new voice in filmmaking.
