Nathaniel James Gray studied cinematography in Canada and the United States. He began his career as a director of photography for Canadian productions. In the late 1970s, with some classmates, he founded the Coop Vidéo de Montréal in parallel for a production company based in Montreal. He has worked with Robert Morin, Manon Briand and many others. Gray has produced dozens of remarkable films and subsequently developed a series of directing on his own. His independent productions are of high quality. In 2016, he published his first very captivating novel and continues his writing. He lives in the Magdalen Islands, is constantly inspired by the beauty of the landscapes and has just produced his latest film in 2024.
