Andrea Díaz

She grows up in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco. She is an active student of Audiovisual Arts at the Department of Image and Sound of the University of Guadalajara.

She develops as First Assistant Manager (1st AD) since 2021. Participating in the short film "He, behind the gun" (2022) Dir. Gabriel Esdras, who was a recipient of the award Made in Jalisco at FICG 2023. He developed the same position in projects winning the Grodman Scholarship as "Elevation" (2024) Dir. Gabriel Esdras, official selection La Cinef 2024 of the Cannes Festival 77 and "All About Regina Re" (2024) Dir. Lilian Mendoza currently in post-production.

Also participated in the short film "No one to tell" (2023) Dir. Olivia Smith in collaboration with the University of Melbourne Filmmakers Collaborative. In 2022 he co-directed the short documentary "El son de la Calandria" with Diego Sigala and Fernando Guzmán. Currently part of the crew of the first film "A Season in Hell" by Gabriel Esdras, which is in its pre-production stage and has the support of FILMA JALISCO 2023.

Serves as producer of the short film "Secret Theater" Dir. Diego Martínez, selected for phase 2 of the StopMotion residences "Live Frames" by the Chucho Workshop in collaboration with the Author’s House Zapopan.
