Misrah Fatima Nizami, born in 2001, is an aspiring indie filmmaker and writer based in Karachi, Pakistan. They possess a versatile skill set encompassing direction, script writing, storytelling, production, creative direction, editing, and cinematography. With a film degree in Communication Design: Media at Indus Valley School Of Art and Architecture, they've honed their filmmaking expertise and passion while also cultivating skills in illustration, photography, animation, and design; all the aspects of still image and the moving image respectively. They aim to explore all genres of cinema that are stylish, unique, and heartfelt. Their work mostly revolves around exploring unseen memories and the passage of time. They are inspired by the works of Wong Kar Wai and Abbas Kiarostami, therefore you can see characterizations of humanistic approaches and non-linear narratives, hazy saturated colors, and a cinematic point of view in their work.
