Bolat Tanziluly Omar (Kazakh: Болат Тәнзілұлы Омар; born 14 December 1947; Bayan-Aul) is a Soviet and Kazakh film director, screenwriter, animation director.

In 1971, he graduated from the Production Faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography with a degree in documentary and television film director. Since 1971, he worked as a director at the Kazakhfilm film studio. Since 1988 — Chairman of the Board of self—supporting film studio "Catharsis", since 1989 - Chairman of the board of self-supporting film studio "Orkenfilm". Since 1996, he has worked as a teacher of computer graphics at the Kazakh State Institute of Theater and Cinema named after T. K. Zhurgenov. Since 1998 — Chief specialist of computer graphics and director of the TV and radio complex of the President of Kazakhstan. Since 2000 — teacher of the workshop of directing advertising clips and videos of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. K. Zhurgenov. Since 2002 — Head of the Department of film programs and design of the RTRK "Kazakhstan" channel. Since 2005 - editor of the Association of animated films and directors, director of Kazakhfilm JSC named after Shaken Aimanov. Since 2007 — Associate Professor of the Department of Film and Television Directing at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. K. Zhurgenov. Since 2009, he has been a teacher of computer animation and the basics of three—dimensional animation at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. K. Zhurgenov. Since 2008 — Secretary of the Union of Cinematographers of Kazakhstan.
