Sayna Fardaraghi (born February 21, 1999) is a British-Persian film & fashion-film director, best known for her short-films 'Waiting' (2020) & 'Glint' (2025). Her former film 'Waiting' received Letterboxd's Highest Rated short film of the year, Best Director (TIFF Tatsuno), Best Experimental short (1.4 Awards) whilst grabbing the attention of renowned filmmakers such as Barry Jenkins and Nicholas Britell. Since then, she has gone on to make further fashion films alongside shorts gracing platforms such as British Vogue, SHOWStudio, Mubi & more - winning her the title of Promonews’ Best New Director(s) of 2023.

Her films are distinguished by a mystical feminine touch, evoking a deep sense of shared, long-forgotten memories within her audience.

Her latest short film, 'Glint' will be her first foray into the horror-genre. Set to release on NOWNESS Asia in 2025 - with select screenings across the UK, US & EU.
