Meng Jia, known simply as Jia, is a Chinese singer, dancer, model, actress and former member of MISS A. She graduated from Seoul Comprehensive Arts Practical School.

JYP Entertainment wanted to launch a Chinese version of WONDER GIRLS, and she was placed in the new group. They signed with Samsung Electronics in China and released a song used for a commercial called "Love Again". After facing some lineup changes, the members were sent to South Korea to debut.

She made her debut in July 2010 as the group's main rapper, lead dancer and vocalist with their first EP, "Bad But Good". The lead single "Bad Girl Good Girl" became the first ever song by a debuting group to reach #1 on the Gaon Digital Chart also becoming the best-performing single.

Their subsequent releases were also praised by music critics and the public, and the group enjoyed an increase in popularity. However, in March 2015, they went on an indefinite hiatus following the promotional period for their EP, "Colors", and the group never released any new material again.

In May 2016, she decided not to renew her contract with JYP and left the group to pursue individual activities in China. She made her debut as a solo artist in November 2016 with the single album "Jia".

After leaving JYP, she was briefly represented by Banana Culture Entertainment before she established her own independent label, Meng Jia Studio, to continue her acting and singing career in China.
