In 2013, Su Xiaotong officially entered the entertainment industry by filming the war drama "Forty-nine Days Festival". In 2015, she starred as the young Zhang Shoufang in the period drama "Young Marshal". In 2016, she was nominated for Best Actress at the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival for her role as Qu Jing in the crime suspense film "What's in the Dark".
