Kirstie is a BAFTA nominated, Glasgow dwelling, proudly Scottish screenwriter. She

is currently show-running greenlit drama series SWEET PEA (See-Saw/Sky) which is

an adaptation of C J Skuse’s popular novel, and is due to start filming later this year.

This summer the BBC commissioned pilot for her original series LADYBABY

(Kudos) went into production.

Kirstie wrote all six episodes of PURE for Channel 4 (produced by Drama Republic),

which aired in the UK in January 2019 and was released on HBO Max in the US in

August this year. In 2019 PURE was nominated for two Scottish BAFTAS including

Best Drama Series and Best Writer. Kirstie was a Consulting Producer and wrote an

episode of Vicky Jones’s RUN (Sky/HBO), starring Domhnall Gleeson and Merritt

Wever.

Kirstie won the 2013 Frank Deasy Award for new writing and in the same year was

selected for the Bush/Kudos Initiative and Broadcast Magazine's Hotshots. She is

also a graduate of the 2012 BBC Writers Academy where she wrote episodes of 3

continuing drama series
