Ichiei Ishibumi

Ichiei Ishibumi is a Japanese novelist best known for his light novel series High School DxD. Ishibumi won the Fantasia Grand Price in 2005 with his first book Denpachi, which was later published in 2006, the same year as his second work SLASH/DOG was published. in 2008 he wrote the work that he is most known for, High School DxD. He currently works on several projects at once, and mostly writes for Fantasia Bunko. Ishibumi likes to build Gunpla and play Pokemon in his free time, which he often mentions in his blog. In 2018, Ichiei collapsed from overwork and has fought with several health conditions ever since, which is why he started writing slower in recent years.
