Asaf Tengiz

Asaf Tengiz was a Turkish film director, screenwriter, and producer, active in the Turkish film industry from the late 1950s through the 1970s. Born in Antalya, he began his career in cinema as an assistant director before making his directorial debut. Tengiz directed and wrote several films across various genres, including Gönül Kimi Severse (1959), Sevimli Haydut (1961), and Hazreti Ibrahim (1964). His film Ustura Behçet (1972) is among his notable works, showcasing his versatility in storytelling. Tengiz was married to actress Safiye Filiz, who starred in several of his films.
