Olga Delia Mateescu

November 6, 1949 — Bistrița, România

She started her actin career while studying romance and classic languages, 1968-1969, with the student troupe "Podul" (The Bridge).

She graduated at the Cinematography and Theater Art Institute I. L. Caragiale in Bucharest, 1973.

She got her doctorate in "Theater History", UNATC, 1999. She played in over 90 production in television, cinema and theater.

Her Movie debut was "Cercul Magic" (Magic Circle), 1975.

She was part of the National Theater troupe in Bucharest. She also played for "Radu Stanca" Theater in Sibiu.

She also wrote theater plays ,novels and short stories.
