Ain Nurmela (born on August 22, 1962 in Pärnu) is an Estonian design artist.

In the years 1980–1986 he studied at the Estonian Academy of Arts. He has done production design for TV series such as "Tähelaev" and "Kaks takti ette" as well as the crime series "Ohtlik lend" and the film "Sügisball". Ain Nurmela, in cooperation with Iir Hermeliini and Ülar Mark, completed the stage and hall design of the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest.

In August 2010, he went missing.
