Disney's first female animator. She was hired because only she had the skills & talent to animate the vicious dogpack chase scene for 'Bambi.' The dogs needed to be frighteningly realistic. Marc Davis is quoted in his "The Making of Bambi" book that "no one matched her ability" in drawing animals from all angles. Posthumously named a Disney Legend. -IMDB
