Amélie Bonnin

Amélie Bonnin is an art director and filmmaker with degrees in graphic design (from the Olivier-de-Serres school in Paris, then UQAM in Montreal) and screenwriting (from the Atelier de la Fémis).

Her projects combine graphic design, drawing, writing and video. Her television work includes the documentaries La mélodie du boucher (broadcast on Arte in 2013) and La bande des Français (broadcast on France 3 in 2018, co-directed with Aurélie Charon).

Partir un jour, her first drama, has had a huge impact at festivals, winning awards in Clermont-Ferrand, Brest, Pantin, Trouville, Toulouse, Paris Courts devant, etc. The film was also one of the four nominees for the 2023 César award for short fiction.

Still with Topshot Films, she is currently developing a first feature-length project, L'escale, co-written with Dimitri Lucas.
